Ireland West Airport Knock is around 5 kilometres south of the small city of Charlestown in County Mayo. This is a regional hub that mainly serves pilgrims to Knock Shrine as well as travellers planning to explore Connacht province and the rest of north-western Ireland.

The airport terminal can be reached via the N17, a north-south motorway that connects to other towns in the vicinity. R376 is the airport turnoff. For those driving to the airport, the short-term lot is directly across from the main (west) terminal entrance, with the long-term parking located situated at the north-west corner of the terminal.
